London Street Photography

There is nothing more I love then myself, a camera and a city. The feeling of being more in tune towards what is happening around you as scenes unfold. A heightened feeling of the senses.

From now on my ‘street’ practice is going to be shot in colour. Moving away from the nostalgic black and white aesthetic of the old masters. Hopefully injecting more of a current feel. I have enjoyed thinking and considering colour more when I am shooting. Adding another element to the process but also something that can be played with and used to my advantage.

I stumbled across lot who were ‘krumping’. A craze that has come across from America. For anyone who is interested take a look at David LaChapelle’s great documentary on the dance style. Which is entitled ‘rize’.
